The second leg of the Champions League last-16 tie between Juventus and Lyon will be held on August 7, according to the Ligue 1 club s president, Jean-Michel Aulas.
Lyon claimed a 1-0 win in the first leg in France in February thanks to a goal from Lucas Tousart.
The competition was then suspended in March due to the coronavirus crisis and UEFA has yet to announce a concrete plan to resume the 2019-20 tournament.
However, the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) claimed this week that it was restarting the Super Lig season so it could finish before the Champions League final, which would be held in Istanbul in August.
Aulas has now claimed the match with Juve at the Allianz Stadium will happen in the early part of the month.

German international defender Christoph Metzelder, who has had three injury-ravaged years with Real Madrid, is to return to the Bundesliga with Schalke 04, the club said on Tuesday.
The 29-year-old signed a deal with Schalke, currently second in the Bundesliga, from the start of next season until June 2013, following talks in Berlin with coach Felix Magath.
No mention was made of a transfer fee.
Metzelder s contract with the Spanish giants would have expired at the end of the season and his fitness problems mean he has not held down a regular place since his 2007 arrival from Borussia Dortmund.
Wolfsburg were another German club reportedly interested in bringing him home.
Metzelder has won 47 caps for Germany and played in the final of the 2008 E…
Right back Danny Fox has become the latest player to leave Scottish giants Glasgow Celtic this January after signing a three and a half year contract with Premiership outfit Burnley. The Clarets have reportedly paid the Hoops somewhere around £1.5m for the 23 year old s services.
Winsford born Fox learnt his trade at Everton s youth academy and had a loan stint with Stanraer before moving to Walsall in 2005. He made over a hundred appearances for the Hornets before transferring to Coventry City in January 2008. After a year and a half with the Sky Blues , Fox was on the move again, this time signing for Celtic in July 2009.
Fox played for England at U-21 level but opted to play for Scotland at senior level. He made his international debut last November against Wale…
Will Halilovic ever live up to his moniker? / Image by vijesti.ba
Weight of the Name
From the first time he stepped on the football field at Dinamo Zagreb, the Croatian starlet Alen Halilovic has been drawing comparisons with one of the greatest players of all time – subsequently his teammate at Barcelona – Lionel Messi.
Bearing a moniker of any sort puts great load on anyone’s shoulder and when it comes to being called ‘The Balkan Messi’ such a nickname can go on to determine your faith as a footballer.
Unfortunately for the 20-year-old Alen Halilovic, the (nick)name only filled his path to prominence with bumps he has so far been unable to avoid.

Luis Suarez hailed Lionel Messi as the best in the world after his Barcelona team-mates crowned a superb Copa del Rey comeback against Athletic Bilbao, with the holders triumphing 4-3 on aggregate.
Trailing 2-1 from a highly charged first leg at San Mames last week, Suarez put Barcelona ahead on Wednesday with his 100th goal for the club.
It was also the 300th goal that Barcelona s famed MSN front three have managed since they first played together in 2014 and Neymar got in on the act by winning and converting a penalty early in the second half.
Athletic s Barcelona-born wideman Enric Saborit levelled the tie on aggregate with a 51st-minute header but Messi stepped forward 12 minutes from time to send home a whipped free-kick off the base of the right-hand post.<…

Looking to extend on what has been a recent purple patch, Real Madrid will welcome Mallorca to the Bernabéu on Wednesday night.
Real Madrid
Starting with the hosts, while Real Madrid might have found themselves in the midst of a transition over the summer, Los Blancos have opened the 2021/22 campaign with a real flurry. With many believing that the now-former Spanish champions are leading the chase to dethrone their crosstown rivals, returning boss Carlo Ancelotti has been filled with praise for his side s recent displays. Managing to land a last-gasp 1-0 win away at Inter Milan last week when opening their Champions League campaign, the Whites built off that performance over the weekend. Making the trip to Valencia on Sunday, the one…
Wolves missed three penalties to hand Tottenham a 3-2 shoot-out victory following a 2-2 draw in Wednesday s EFL Cup third-round clash.
Tanguy Ndombele and Harry Kane fired Tottenham into a two-goal lead inside 23 minutes but Leander Dendoncker responded for Bruno Lage s men before the interval.
Daniel Podence levelled things up 13 minutes after the break following a mistake from Ndombele, but penalties were required at Molineux as neither side could find a late winner.
Pierluigi Gollini managed to save from Dendoncker and with both Conor Coady and Ruben Neves faltering, Spurs marched into the fourth round despite Pierre-Emile Hjobjerg missing.

Argentine outfit Colon de Santa Fe have secured the services of midfielder Damian Diaz on a year long loan from domestic giants Boca Juniors.
The 24 year old Rosario born Diaz rose through the youth ranks at local club Rosario Central and made 37 appearances for them before moving to Boca in 2008. However he struggled to hold down a first team spot at Boca and was sent out on loan to Chilean club Universidad Católica in 2009. He did well at Universidad, scoring fourteen times in 30 games for them.
Colon played in the 2010 Copa Libertadores earlier this year, but went out in the first stage. They drew 3-3 on aggregate against Universidad and Diaz scored one for the Chileans in the penalty shootout as they beat Colon 5-3.

Goalkeeper Pepe Reina is more than just an understudy to Spain captain Iker Casillas; he is the charismatic heart and soul of the changing room and a valued source of technical advice.
It was largely thanks to him that Casillas was able to repel Oscar Cardozo s penalty in Spain s narrow 1-0 defeat of Paraguay in the quarter-finals.
Reina told me where Cardozo tended to shoot and he was right. He s a phenomenon, said Casillas.
The former Villarreal shot-stopper had conceded two penalties by Cardozo in the first leg of Liverpool s Europa League quarter-final at Benfica in April.
He s good at that, says Xabi Alonso, Reina s colleague at Liverpool for three years and now a team-mate of Casillas s at Real Madrid.
He trains for it and prepares himse…
Patrick van Aanholt’s second goal in as many Premier League matches rescued a point for Sunderland in their relegation clash with AFC Bournemouth.
Van Aanholt, who learnt in midweek that the league’s Goal Accreditation Panel had taken away his strike at Swansea earlier in January, responded in perfect fashion with a fine finish in first-half stoppage time to cancel out Benik Afobe’s opener for the visitors at the Stadium of Light.
Given Sunderland’s propensity to concede in the opening 15 minutes of matches and Bournemouth’s prolific record in the early stages, it was perhaps unsurprising that Afobe nodded the Cherries in front inside 11 minutes.
The striker netted his side’s eighth early strike of the Premier League campaign – and the ninth ship…
