The transfer window in France does not shut until September 2, but it appears most teams in France s top flight have attempted to get their business done in time for the start of the new campaign.

Paris Saint-Germain cruised to the league title last season, though with uncertainty over Neymar s future will Thomas Tuchel s side find things so easy this season?

We look at the five best signings by Ligue 1 clubs heading into 2019-20.

Women´s Super League Predictions: Man City and Arsenal big favourites on MD3

As we gear up for matchday three in the Women s Super League, the chasing pack have an opportunity to make ground on Chelsea and Manchester United, who are both unbeaten so far.

The Opta Supercomputer is here to give the inside track on whom the winners and losers may be as we look ahead to each match-up.

Chelsea and United will not be in action due to fixture congestion as a result of the Blues Women s Champions League fixture on Tuesday next week. This will therefore be an early chance for Manchester City, Tottenham, and Arsenal to make inroads.

WSL history could be made this weekend too – if Jordan Nobbs laces up her boots and is selected for Aston Villa in their match away at Brighton, she will break the record for all-time appearances.

If Nobbs is …

01-05-2010 Manchester City Vs Aston Villa

This could be the most important match in the race for that crucial fourth place champions league spot and Man City will be hoping that home advantage is enough for them to put their noses in front in this race to the wire.

Roberto Mancini s obvious selection dilemma is who to play between the sticks for this critical game. With first and second choice keepers Given and Taylor both out injured, City were given special dispensation to bring in another keeper to act as cover. Martin Fulop has been brought in on loan from Sunderland although it is not clear whether Fulop will be selected to start, with Nielson also available to Mancini. Lescott, Petrov and Johnson all still miss out for Man City but in reality it is a near full strength squad which Mancini can select from. This is…

Alisson has become the first goalkeeper to win the Samba d Or Award, beating Liverpool team-mate Roberto Firmino to the prize with Neymar only fifth.

The stopper took 35.54 per cent of the vote for the best Brazilian player in Europe with Firmino in second spot with 23.48 per cent.

Liverpool won the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup in 2019 while Brazil claimed Copa America glory.

Paris Saint-Germain defender Thiago Silva came third with another Liverpool player, midfielder Fabinho, finishing fourth in the voting.

Havertz becomes first player to open Champions League account in a final since 2013

Kai Havertz became the first player to score his maiden Champions League goal in the final since Ilkay Gundogan in 2013 when he broke the deadlock for Chelsea against Manchester City on Saturday.

Germany international Havertz – a big-money signing from Bayer Leverkusen ahead of the 2020-21 campaign – put Thomas Tuchel s side ahead three minutes before the interval in Porto.

The 21-year-old had made 20 appearances in the competition with the Blues and Leverkusen without scoring prior to that strike.

He was teed up by Mason Mount, who became the first English player to provide a Champions League final assist since Manchester United s Wes Brown against the Blues in 2008.

Cowboys vs Vikings Sunday Night Football Picks and Predictions: Prescott's Availability Could Spell Doom For Cowboys

NFL betting fans get to go trick-or-treating on Halloween as the Dallas Cowboys visit the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday Night Football in Week 8.

Dallas opened as the favorite and drew early action but the status of Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and his ailing calf has caused concern and the NFL odds took a huge swing on Thursday evening — shifting from Minnesota +2.5 to -2.5.

Both teams are coming off bye weeks, with Dallas hoping that hiatus doesn’t stunt a five-game winning streak and 3-3 Minnesota searching for consistency.

Here are our best free NFL picks and predictions for Cowboys vs. Vikings on Sunday, October 31.

Browns vs Panthers Week 1 Picks and Predictions: Carolina Puts Lid On Jacoby Brissett

If the actual game between the Cleveland Browns and Carolina Panthers is anything like the offseason line movement for this Week 1 contest, NFL bettors are in for a wild ride.

From the Deshaun Watson drama to Baker Mayfield’s move to Carolina, this non-conference clash has more intrigue than some of the marquee matchups on the board, but it’s also layered with a lot of mystery, namely around how these offenses will operate.

I try to make sense of one of the craziest NFL lines I can remember, breaking down the spread and total as well as giving my best NFL picks and predictions for Browns at Panthers.

Lamar Jackson Odds and TNF Props: Jackson Excels When the Pressure is On

The Week 11 odds give us an absolute monster of a Thursday Night Football match that features a divisional clash between two teams that are not only AFC North rivals but two of the best offenses in the NFL. The Bengals’ 5-4 record might not indicate that but let’s not forget that Joe Burrow was carrying an injury for the first quarter of the season. We’re not focused on Burrow though, here we are looking at the NFL odds for the man under center for the Ravens, Lamar Jackson.

Now let’s get stuck into the very best ways that you can use everything we know about Lamar Jackson odds to get the very best value on the Ravens’ QB for tonight’s NFL picks.

49ers vs Chiefs Odds, Line, Spread: San Francisco a Slim Super Bowl Favorite as Game Time Approaches

Super Bowl 58, known in some circles as Super Bowl (Taylor’s Version), is set for this evening at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The San Francisco 49ers will once again try to beat the Kansas City Chiefs after losing to them in the Big Game four years ago. The Super Bowl odds have seen plenty of movement since opening just after the Championship Sunday games concluded, with the 49ers holding as tepid favorites while a fairly large consensus total hangs on the board.

Super Bowl predictions are rolling in, from spread plays to Super Bowl props to even exact Super Bowl score predictions. We’re chronicling how the odds have moved since opening and looking back at how these teams got here to assist you with making NFL picks and 49ers vs. Chiefs predictions for …

Giants vs Seahawks Picks, Predictions, and Best Bets: Walker Headlines Loaded Seattle Attack

The Seattle Seahawks are dealing with defensive injuries and a short turn around, but they’re catching the Malik Nabers-less New York Giants at home on the Week 5 schedule.

Nabers’ concussion spells trouble for this 1-3 New York team, and my Giants vs. Seahawks predictions believe Kenneth Walker III is in for a big day for the Seattle offense.

Check out my free NFL picks for October 6.

Giants vs Seahawks prediction

My best betKenneth Walker Over 70.5 rushing yards (-115 at BetMGM)

My analysis

Out of necessity, the Seattle Seahawks have leaned into their aerial attack this season. However, Seattle has extra gear when Kenneth Walker III is thumping his way through defenses in the ground game. Walker currently ran…
